Mobile Phone Communication

Mobile Phones allow us to stay in touch with others and provide the user with a sense of security.

During a deployment, the MOVE trucks  can charge 120 mobile phones at a time and get  folks in touch with their families and friends quickly.

Disaster Detector

The MOVE trucks are deployed to recovery and relief sites when natural disasters (including tornados, wildfires, flooding, and hurricanes) occur.

The MOVE trucks provide communications support, electrical power and technical assistance.

Find it with GPS

GPS is a network of satellites and receiving devices used to determine the location of something on Earth.

The MOVE trucks rely on GPS to get to a deployment quickly and safely.

Rescue Rover

The MOVE truck program was conceptualized, designed, and developed by IEEE Volunteers!

Each deployment is made possible by people who volunteer their time, expertise, and money to keep the trucks running and ready when disasters strike.
