 Why It Matters

These books don’t just inspire students—they also build lasting bridges between IEEE members and local educators. You’re giving more than books; you’re connecting communities.

How to Connect with a School

Option 1: Use Your Network

Ask if any IEEE members have ties to local schools.

Reach out to the school’s STEM liaison, librarian, or principal to propose the donation.

Option 2: Cold Outreach

Visit the school’s website and locate the appropriate contact.

Send an email (or call) introducing IEEE and the opportunity to donate engaging STEM books and materials.

Funding Tip: Sections can apply for *Professional Activities* funding to offset up to 50% of the expense.
